About Claim Confidence

Straight answers about the platform, the free trial, cancellation, privacy, and how Claim Confidence fits into your disability journey.

What is Claim Confidence?Show

Claim Confidence is an independent educational subscription platform that helps people understand the U.S. Social Security Disability process — SSDI and SSI — in plain English. Members get guided lessons, a personal filing roadmap, checklists, a plain-English glossary, and a growing POMS Explained library. It is not a law firm, does not represent claimants, and is not affiliated with the Social Security Administration.

Who is Claim Confidence for?Show

It's built for adults who are thinking about applying for disability, actively applying, waiting on a decision, or navigating an appeal — and for family members or advocates helping them. If you want to understand what the SSA is asking, why, and what typically happens next, this platform is for you.

What's included in a membership?Show

Every membership includes: the full Confidence Academy lesson library, guided Learning Paths for each stage of the process, a personal Filing Timeline, the Application Readiness Checklist and other interactive tools, the SSA acronym Glossary, the POMS Explained in Plain English library, saved lessons, and progress tracking. New lessons and tools are added on an ongoing basis at no additional cost.

How does the 3-day free trial work?Show

You choose a plan (Monthly or Annual), enter your payment details, and get full access to the entire platform for 3 days. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. If you don't cancel, your card is charged automatically when the trial ends and your membership begins.

Can I cancel anytime?Show

Yes. You can cancel your membership at any time from the Account page in a couple of clicks — no phone calls, no forms. If you cancel during the free trial, you're not charged. If you cancel after billing, your access continues through the end of the current billing period.

Is this legal advice?Show

No. Claim Confidence is strictly educational. Nothing on the platform is legal advice, representation, or individualized claim advice, and using the platform does not create an attorney-client relationship. For advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney or an SSA-accredited representative.

Do you guarantee my claim will be approved?Show

No. No one — not us, not an attorney, not a representative — can guarantee an SSDI or SSI approval. Decisions are made by the Social Security Administration and state Disability Determination Services based on your medical evidence, work history, and financial situation. Claim Confidence helps you understand the process so you can participate in it with more confidence.

Can I use Claim Confidence if I already have an attorney or representative?Show

Yes. Many members use Claim Confidence alongside a representative so they can better understand what their representative is doing, what SSA is asking for, and what to expect at each step. The platform is designed to educate — it does not replace or interfere with a representative's work.

Is my information secure and private?Show

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and we never sell your personal information. You control what you enter (checklist progress, journey stage, saved lessons). Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and we never store your full card details on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, retention, and your rights.

How is this different from free information online?Show

Free information about disability is everywhere, but it's fragmented, often outdated, and rarely written for people going through the process for the first time. Claim Confidence organizes the entire SSDI and SSI process into one plain-English platform: sequenced lessons, a personal roadmap tied to your stage, interactive tools, and a POMS library that translates the SSA's internal rules into language you can actually use. It's the difference between a pile of search results and a guided path.
