Seller information

Legal business name of the seller: Claim Confidence. Claim Confidence is the party you are contracting with under these Terms and the operator of this website and subscription platform (referred to in these Terms as "Claim Confidence," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Claim Confidence, the legal business name of the seller and operator of the Claim Confidence educational subscription platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Educational purpose only — not legal advice

All content on Claim Confidence is provided for general educational purposes about the U.S. Social Security Disability (SSDI and SSI) application process. It is not legal advice, representation, individualized claim advice, or a guarantee of any outcome. We are not a law firm, and using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Social Security Administration.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Subscriptions, billing, and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected) until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your Account page, which opens Paddle's hosted portal. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms. For refund requests, see our Refund Policy.

Free trial

If we offer a free trial, you may need to provide a payment method to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and your payment method will be charged the applicable subscription fee.

Intellectual property

The Service, including all lessons, articles, illustrations, checklists, glossary content, software, and design, is owned by Claim Confidence or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial educational use, subject to these Terms.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others' rights.
  • Do not send spam, fraudulent content, malware, or attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.
  • Do not probe, scan, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except to the extent applicable law prohibits this restriction.
  • Do not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share your account or the content with others.
  • Do not misrepresent Claim Confidence content as your own or as legal advice.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, for reasons including: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Paddle-hosted portal linked from your Account page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, governing law) will survive.

Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular content will always be available. Content may be updated, corrected, or removed at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Claim Confidence and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Claim Confidence from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Claim Confidence is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute not subject to mandatory arbitration or another dispute-resolution mechanism.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or failures of third-party networks or infrastructure.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
